A date with a new camera

I seized the package from the postman far too eagerly, tore open the box and marvelled; a Canon 5D mark iii!

Then waited.

And waited…2 and a half hours becomes such a long time to charge a battery.

What to photograph when you’ve just got your hands on a brand new, fully charged camera? Pets! (poor things)  :)

There are hundreds of reviews about the 5D3 so I won’t bore you with the technicalities. Lets just say that I love it. From the 5D it’s an improvement in essentially every way I can imagine, the quality of the photos is stunning, and the ISO handling is just brilliant too (the tabby cat is at ISO 1600 with just a little bit of noise reduction).

      1. Thanks! In my humble opinion I say definitely yes!! The detail you can capture is amazing, the pics look great straight off the camera, it handles noise like a dream, and there are sooooo many features to play around with.. it seems as though so much thought has gone into every aspect of it :) What camera do you use?
