Escape from November

I hate English Novembers. It’s too late into autumn for the leaves to be still be on the trees but not far enough into winter for there to be those cold but bright frosty or snowy days. So what’s left? Darkness, clouds and rain. I hate it, and I had to escape it.

After some research it seemed as though most places in Europe are nasty in November (please do let me know of any places that aren’t!). But one place in particular looked amazing: Venice.

And it was. There are a whole host of reasons why everyone should go to Venice  in November (return flight for £34, anyone?), and that’s for my next post…
