Valentine’s Rose in Infrared

I’ve been practising/experimenting with infrared quite a lot since my last post, and I’m definitely starting to see some awesome results! This was a 4 minute exposure (!!!) of a rose on my desk at work. Admittedly the light wasn’t great in the first place, but with the 5D mark iii you do really need to let the light in. In my next post (when hopefully I’ll have more time) I shall write some top tips for infrared photographers without a dedicated camera…

But for now have a lovely Valentine’s Day :)
